Airbrush is painting with air in which dyes are dissolved that are sprayed onto a surface (canvas, metal, paper, airbrush board or T-shirt cloth). I prefer to make portraits in which I try to put an emphasis on the essence of a person or animal. Freehand techniques (using no masking foil or tape) is my favorite way of airbrushing.
